The Municipal Wellness Program, offered through the Association of Municipal Administrators Nova Scotia (AMANS), supports municipalities in creating healthier and more supportive workplaces for municipal employees and elected officials.
The program promotes a culture of wellness across Nova Scotia’s municipal sector by providing resources, activities, and initiatives that encourage physical health, mental well-being, social connection, and overall workplace wellness. Municipalities can participate in wellness challenges, workshops, training sessions, and grant-supported local initiatives designed to help employees build healthy habits and strengthen workplace morale.
By bringing municipalities together around shared wellness goals, the program helps foster healthier workplaces, stronger teams, and more resilient municipal organizations across the province.
