Municipal IDEAS is an AMANS initiative that helps municipalities and villages across Nova Scotia advance inclusive, diverse, equitable, and accessible communities. The program supports municipal staff and leaders working on equity, anti-racism, and accessibility initiatives by providing practical guidance, learning opportunities, and shared resources.

Through training, tools, workshops, and collaborative networks, Municipal IDEAS helps municipalities develop plans, implement initiatives, and share knowledge with peers across the province. The program also provides access to planning templates, policy resources, and examples from other municipalities to support local action and continuous improvement.

By connecting municipalities with expertise, resources, and a community of practice, Municipal IDEAS strengthens local capacity to build more inclusive and accessible communities throughout Nova Scotia.
