The Municipal Equity, Anti-Racism and Accessibility Support Program helps Nova Scotia municipalities and villages develop and implement plans that meet the requirements of the Accessibility Act and the Dismantling Racism and Hate Act. Funded by the Nova Scotia Office of Equity and Anti-Racism, the program works in partnership with the Accessibility Directorate and the Department of Municipal Affairs to support practical, community-based improvements that reduce barriers and promote inclusive participation.

Through workshops, networking opportunities, and shared resources, the program provides guidance and support to municipal staff and leadership working to advance accessibility, equity, and anti-racism initiatives in their communities.
